简介：Janine Lewis is newly promoted to the rank of Detective Chief Inspector as her marriage is falling apart. She is thrown into the role of single mom. Her boss is not supporting her. He hints that she was given the job because she is a woman. At home she has four children, ranging in age from 15 to newborn. Finding good child care while she works is a real challenge. One of the most interesting aspects of this series is watching Janine solve some of Manchester's worst crimes while trying to be a good parent.
