简介: Eddie Liu is a Los Angeles-based actor from Long Island, New York. The son of small business owners, his first acting credit was at the age of four in "The Wild Duckie Chase". He was offered the part when he volunteered by raising his hand while sitting in the live studio audience at the Sesame Street affiliated family theme park, Sesame Place. In the following years, Eddie pretended to be a Power Ranger in his living room.
His next public acting experience was at Hofstra University in a black box performance of Lisa Loomer's play "The Waiting Room". After graduating with a degree in Public Relations, Eddie committed to acting professionally and was accepted into the renowned William Esper Studio in New York City where he completed the two year acting program.
Since graduating from Esper, he accumulated credits in several commercials and print ads. He also performed in the dark comedy play "The Future Is Not What It Was" at the Walkerspace by Michael Rabe and starred in the Accolade Competition winning web series "The Waiting Room" (same name but not the play he did in college).
In January of 2014, Eddie moved to Los Angeles to further his acting career. His most recent stage work was in the comedy-farce, "Drop Dead!" written and directed by veteran TV writers Billy Van Zandt and Jane Millmore, produced by Theatre 68.
Eddie has studied improv with the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and has appeared in spots for Acura, Citizen's Bank, Oreo, Toys R Us, Time Warner Cable, Panda Express, Crowne Plaza Hotels and more.
When he's not acting, Eddie enjoys his other passion as a personal trainer and pursues interests in martial arts, improv shows, burgers, and junk food. Eddie is an active member of the 68 Cent Crew Theatre Company.
