She competed in Radio Disney's Next Big Thing, season 5 for a chance to record her own single and a guest starring role on Austin & Ally to perform her song. She did not make it to the finals, but had gotten 3rd place. She graduated from High School 1 year early to commit 100% of her time to acting and singing. She was the only girl on her flag football team at age 11.
