简介： TzeChun(bornTze-ngoChun)isanaward-winningAmericanfilmdirectorandwriter.HewasborninChicagoandraisedoutsideofBoston,andgraduatedfromMiltonAcademyin1997.Hereceivedhisbachelor'sdegreeinfilmstudiesatColumbiaUniversity.
Hisdebutfeaturefilm,ChildrenofInvention,premieredatthe2009SundanceFilmFestival,screenedatover50filmfestivals,won17festivalawardsincluding8GrandJuryorBestNarrativeFeatureprizes,andwasreleasedtheatricallyin8cities,onDVD,andonVODin2010.Chunhasalsodirectednumerousshorts,includingWindowbreaker,aselectionofthe2007SundanceFilmFestival.ChunwasoneofthestaffwritersfortheABCtelevisionseriesCashmereMafia,starringLucyLiu.
In2007,Chunwasnamedoneofthe"25NewFacesofIndependentFilm"byFilmmakerMagazine.
In2009,ChunreceivedthePumaEmergingFilmmakerAwardatthe2009HawaiiInternationalFilmFestivalandtheGeorgeC.LinEmergingFilmmakerAwardattheDCAsianPacificAmericanFilmFestival.
DuringComic-Con2010inSanDiego,itwasannouncedthatWillEisner'sgroundbreakinggraphicnovelAContractWithGodwillbeadaptedintoafeaturefilm,withChundirectingoneofthestory'sfourchapters.
