简介：This is the first film in the series "The Duma on Kovpak." He tells how during the Second World War the inhabitants of Ukraine, under the command of Commissar Rudnev and Kovpak, began to fight against the German invaders in the rear. A detachment of partisans from twelve men was created and how it developed to a mighty military unit that received the title of First Partisan Division of Ukraine.
